The most-anticipated romantic movies for the last few months is indeed Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starrer – QISMAT releasing tomorrow i.e. 21st September! Right since the time when ‘Qismat song’ featuring Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta was out, the audience was craving to see Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta working together on a film. Of late, the duo has been sharing some very cute pictures together winning the internet allover.
Written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, ‘Qismat’ is believed to have a unique story as its backbone where a tragedy strikes a happy life that the young duo is leading. Speaking in an interview, the director of the film Jagdeep Sidhu (The man behind films like Nikka Zaildar series) said that Punjabi cinema has never really seen a complete romantic film in the recent times. Most love stories that we see on screen are rom-coms usually. But Qismat will be different!
The entire Qismat team is glad to have received the response that it’s getting on the trailer and all the amazing songs released so far. Sargun Mehta, who’s made an entry in Punjabi cinema after about a year and a half (her last film being ‘Lahoriye’ with Amrinder Gill) is all the more excited to work in this film as the talented actress has finally got a role that’ll fully showcase her acting prowess.
QISMAT is a tale of a young fellow who gets relocated to a new city for education, where he meets a girl (Sargun) and gradually the duo fall in love with each other. However, like every other love story, there comes a tragic situation in ‘Qismat’ as well, which will be unveiled only once the movie is out.
