Set up in the backdrop of Punjab during the 1960s, the movie features the on-screen couple Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa who will be seen as Shinda and Taro respectively. The duo was earlier seen together in Simerjit Singh’s Nikka Zaildar and Nikka Zaildar 2, which were appreciated by the audiences.

One of the most prolific directors of Pollywood, Simerjit Singh has carved a niche in the industry with his directing finesse and passion for films. A graduate in commerce, Simerjit Singh has directed many chartbuster movies like Angrej (2015), Mar Gaye Oye Loko and Subedar Joginder Singh, and his latest directorial project; Muklawa, a Punjabi romantic comedy period film is all set to release on May 24th, 2019.
