The movie celebrates the rich legacy of an eminent wrestler, Nadhoo Khan who has always kept his son at an arm’s distance from the battlefield.
In today’s era of ever-evolving media & entertainment industry, there are many new genres of movies emerging in Ballewood and the upcoming Punjabi movie, Nadhoo Khan stands testament to the same. A unique amalgamation of romance, drama, period and action, Nadhoo Khan celebrates the rich legacy of an eminent wrestler, Nadhoo Khan who always kept his son at an arm’s distance from the battlefield.
Speaking about the same, the lead actor of the movie, Harish Verma shared, “The movie is an intense romantic drama. The storyline is very gripping. When I read the script I was convinced that I must do something so different. I haven’t done a role like this before and I said yes to the makers.”
“I am playing a very plain character in the movie and I am hopeful that it will be loved by the audience,” Harish further added.
Acting parallel to Harish Verma is Indian actress, Wamiqa Gabbi who has worked in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies prior to Nadhoo Khan. The movie also stars BN Sharma, Baninderjit Singh Bunny, Hobby Dhaliwal, Malkeet Rauni, Rupinder Rupi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Harinder Bhullar, Gurchet Chitarkaar, Simran Dhindsa, Parkash Gadhu, Mahabir Bhullar, Raj Dhaliwal, Satwinder Kaur, Seema Kaushal, Master Ansh Tejpal and Chacha Bisna in pivotal roles.
The movie aesthetically captures the wrestling culture of the bygone days and it is shot in various locations across the country including Rajasthan and Fazilka.
Directed by Imran Sheikh, Nadhoo Khan has been produced by Harpreet Singh Devgun, Achint Goel and Rakesh Dahiya and it is all set to hit the silver screen on 26th April 2019. The movie is penned by Sukhjinder Singh Babbal and is produced by Loud Roar Films in association with Music Tym Production.
