Punjabi cinema fans are in for a powerful cinematic experience as the first official motion poster for the upcoming film Thaapi has finally been unveiled. Adorned with earthy tones and strong voice overs, the poster perfectly captures a raw narrative of relentless struggle and resilience of women.
Produced by Amanpreet Singh (Smarters Films), Thaapi has been written & directed by Jagdeep Warring, who is making his directorial debut with this film. Thaapi also marks a monumental milestone as the official Punjabi cinema debut of Bollywood actor Sunny Singh, who stars alongside Bajwa in a highly anticipated pairing.
As per the sources, Thaapi is touted be a thematic celebration of sports, gender equality, and women’s empowerment. The motion poster echoes this heavy narrative weight with its powerful central tagline: “Legacy is not inherited, it is fought for.”
